I finally got it to work by adding to the serial port initialization routine a call to set the port to transparency. Now I can transfer eight bit stuff without seven bit quoting. It is possible that this should be set for all MSDOS Kermits, since in perusing the code for a FIDO driver written for IBM FIDO I noticed the same call was used. The following is a dif of my msxhp1.asm file after making the changes from a listing he sent me. I have tried it as a local kermit and it seems to work. I haven't tried it with the hp150 working as a remote kermit or as server. I suggest the following be added to msvhp1.bwr and be included in 2.30.
