I will try to add these features into the next update of QK-KERMIT. As for the time out of sending packets I don't know what could case that unless you picked the wrong protocal. You should probably use SERIES/1 protocal. The use of the name "SERIES/1" was probably a poor choice of name. It actually is used for communicating with other computers who do not echo back the packet characters even though they are in full duplex mode.
