FCPID.DOC Documentation for the I and D space F11acp (useful on systems with many open files, to keep the FCBs out of primary pool) Included here are 2 correction files for the F11acp sources to do this: MXQIO.COR MOUNT1.COR Put them in [13,40] on your sysgen pack, they are to be used against the F11 sources in [13,10]. Use [13,24]FCPASM.CMD as a model for reassembling the necessary 2 modules, then insert them into FCP.OLB. The task build file here, FCPIDBLD.CMD is optimized for a system which routinely has 200 files open. It creates a task image called FCPID.TSK which can then be renamed to FCPLRG (for mounting volumes with thier own FCPs) and/or installed (via VMR) as F11ACP. The details of what this is all about and how to optimize your file system are included in Frank Penners submission on the Fall 83 tape. See RMD.DOC for an explanation of how to fix RMDEMO so that the task page still picks up correct file information.
