It is now possible to run a task (spawn MCR) at another terminal. This can be accomplished by typing either: RRU : or RRU RRU>: The is the octal terminal number of the terminal you wish to run a task at. Depending on the status of that terminal, RRU will continue in one of two modes as follows: Mode 1 - If the destination terminal is not currently logged on, or the terminal is logged on with the same UIC as your terminal; RRU will simply pass your command and will allow termination of RRU before the spawned task completes. Mode 2 - If the destination terminal is logged in under a UIC other than your login UIC, a warning of such will be printed on your terminal, and you will be given the option to exit. If you still wish to run a task at that terminal, you will be locked out from typing anything at your terminal until the spawned job does complete. The reason for this is that your login UIC will temporarily become the destination terminal UIC. Priviledged terminals will not be locked out of any terminal. Note - If you enter more than one MCR command after the RRU prompt, you will only need to enter the tty # once if you intend to send mul- tiple commands to the same terminal. (i.e., ":DIR")
