SUBJECT: New OPLOG command for logging operator entries a la ATEX OPERLOG file. A new CCL command, "OPLOG", has been created for your exclusive use. Use of the command will require some understanding of the EDT text editor program; but even novices can make entries even if they may not be neat. To use the command, simply type in "OPLOG". The command will work no matter what UIC you are in. It will switch you temporarily to [77,77], open up the file OPERLOG.TXT for editing, and will insert a blank form at the top of the screen for you to fill in. For the EDT novices: any key you type will INSERT text wherever the cursor is. The four ARROW keys will move the cursor around. The DELETE key will delete the character to the left of the cursor. To get out of the OPERLOG, type CNTL/Z; you will get a "*" prompt. Now type in "EXIT" and hit RETURN. When you EXIT, the OPLOG command will delete the old version of OPERLOG.TXT and will switch you back to the UIC you were in when you started. I would like each of you to practice making an entry in OPLOG after you have read this notice. Use OPLOG to record any unusual events on CSI or the business systems, just as you have used OPERLOG on the ATEX system.
