=============================
     
1. How to save your BIOS
========================
We highly recommend you to save your original BIOS once your system's 
configuration is completed. It may prove to be useful for further reload 
in case of BIOS configuration problems.
     
. Reboot the HP NetServer E200 on this floppy
. At the DOS prompt, type <AFLASH> then press <Enter>
. Select option 1 (Save Current BIOS to File) then press <Enter>
. Type a filename and the path (e.g. : <A:\0.21>) then press <Enter>. 
. When prompted to confirm the BIOS update, press Y.
     
     
2. How to update your BIOS
==========================
You may need to update your server's BIOS to use latest fixes developped 
by HP. 
     
. Download the updated BIOS file from HP website onto this floppy. 
. Reboot the HP NetServer E200 on this floppy
. At the DOS prompt, type <AFLASH> then press <Enter>
. Select option 2 (Update BIOS Including Boot Block and ESCD) then 
  press <Enter>
. Type the filename of your new BIOS (e.g. : <A:\0.21>) then 
  press <Enter>.
     
WARNING! If you encounter problems while updating the new BIOS, DO NOT 
turn off your system since this might prevent your system from booting up. 
Just repeat the process, and if the problem still persists, update the 
original BIOS file you saved to disk above. If the Flash Memory Writer 
utility was not able to successfully update a complete BIOS file, your 
system may not be able to boot up and your system would need service.
